We want you to get the care you deserve.

Hi, I am Johanna!

Holistic Psychologist Neurodiversity Affirmative

Johanna Badenhorst is a mother of two, Educational Developmental Psychologist and Director at Holistic Wellness Psychology. She takes a holistic approach to therapy, which means she treats the person as a whole, with all their complexity and richness that it involves; integrating mind, body and spirit. She has a passion supporting women’s health, specifically supporting mothers through their matrescence journey as they may experience Antenal or Post-natal Depression/Anxiety or adjustment issues along the way. (Because we all know how challenging this time can be!).

Johanna also likes to work in collaboration with other health care professionals in order to provide the best care possible to the community. She uses evidence-based practices such as the Circle of Security, Dialectal Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy.

Johanna is also a Board-Approved Supervisor and therefore able to provide supervision, please enquire in the Contact section.
